The Green River Regional Educational Cooperative is pleased to announce that it has received a generous grant for $7500 from the WHAS Crusade for Children.  The grant will fund a project focusing on a “Train the Trainer” model in providing assistive technology evaluations  to students with disabilities. A national expert in assistive technology will provide  three days of training, coaching and monthly follow-up to participants in six selected districts in the GRREC region.  Participants will be selected via an application process. Also, Selected participants will receive various tools and devices that will be used in performing evaluations.

The WHAS Crusade for Children, established in 1954 by WHAS-TV, fulfills its mission of raising money for agencies, schools, and hospitals to make life better for children with special needs. GRREC is grateful for the support of WHAS.
