Stacy Crawford Bewley serves as the Special Education Services Coordinator with GRREC. Stacy earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University before pursuing a Master of Education in Learning and Behavior Disorders and a Ph.D. in Special Education Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Louisville. She also holds a Director of Special Education Certificate from Campbellsville University.

With more than 20 years of experience in special education, Stacy has served in a number of roles, including special education teacher, instructional coach, and district administrator. An active leader in the profession, Stacy is a past president of the Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children and has presented nationally on instructional coaching, High-Leverage Practices, family engagement, writing instruction, and student engagement.

Stacy believes the greatest impact on student success comes from supporting the educators, leaders, and families who serve students every day. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crafting, camping, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their Goldendoodles.
