Ruth Ann Davis is a dedicated Literacy Consultant for Special Services and a proud member of the SERTAC team. With nearly two decades of classroom experience, Ruth Ann is a highly qualified education professional committed to advancing literacy outcomes for all students.

She holds both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Kentucky University, alongside comprehensive teaching certifications spanning Elementary Education, Exceptional Education, Middle Grades English/Communications, and High School English/Communications.

Leveraging 19 years of firsthand experience teaching Middle and High School English, Ruth Ann brings a wealth of practical insight to her consulting work. She is deeply passionate about empowering educators, strengthening instructional frameworks, and fostering environments where students can thrive as confident readers, writers, and communicators.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ruth Ann is an avid reader who loves spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and making lasting memories with her family.
