As a PBIS Consultant at GRREC--Special Education, JoAnna Jones brings a wealth of experience to the table. She has held various roles in education, including Classroom Teacher, School Counselor, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Elementary Instruction. JoAnna earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement from WKU, as well as a Rank I in School Counseling and an Educational Leadership Endorsement.

JoAnna is an active member of several organizations, including the Council of Administrators of Special Education, National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Kentucky Behavior Task Group, Project AWARE 2.0 and School Climate Transformation Project State Leadership Team, and the Kentucky Department of Education--Project AWARE ISF Committee.

Her passion lies in supporting schools to make a positive impact on the lives of students. She finds joy in her work and is committed to helping schools create safe and supportive environments for their students.
