Jennifer Tatum serves as a Professional Learning Specialist at EPIC, where she delivers customizable professional learning programs that enhance teaching practices and student outcomes across all grade levels and content areas. With over two decades of experience in education, Jennifer specializes in instructional coaching, mathematics education, and STEM integration.
Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning with an Elementary Math Specialist Endorsement from the University of Louisville, where she was recognized as the Outstanding Master of Education Student Teacher Leader - Elementary. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Elementary Education from King University. Her certifications include Cognitive Coaching, Certified Kagan Instructor, Orton-Gillingham, and Project Lead the Way, among others. Throughout her career, Jennifer has demonstrated expertise in grant writing and management, securing funding through MAF Grants, TVA STEM Grants, and Project Lead the Way Grants. She is passionate about supporting educators in creating engaging, student-centered learning environments.
Jennifer is actively involved in her community, providing fundraising and grant writing support for non-profits including BGFC Lions, Young Life, Capital Area Down Syndrome, and STEM enrichment programs. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys playing board games with her family and taking long walks with her pups.
