Cassie Zenner is the Chief Learning Officer at GRREC. Her professional accomplishments include becoming a National Board Certified Teacher, a Hope Street KY State and National Teacher Fellow, and serving on the Kentucky Teacher Advisory Council. In 2016, Cassie was named the KCTE Elementary Teacher of the Year and was part of the finalist team in the Agents for Learning challenge. She currently serves on the KASA Next Generation Leading and Learning Committee and as a Kentucky Schools to Watch Reviewer. Cassie received her MA in School Counseling from Murray State University and her MA in School Administration from Campbellsville University, and she is currently working towards her superintendent certification.

In addition to her professional achievements, Cassie is affiliated with several education organizations, including KASA, KASS, NBCT, and KSCA, and has contributed to publications such as Kentucky Teacher. Cassie is a servant leader who values the humanistic aspect of teaching, and she is passionate about building relationships and communities. With 16 years of experience in education, Cassie cherishes the unique opportunities each community she serves offers to grow and connect. She is committed to improving education systems, practices, and mindsets to ensure that students have relevant and connected experiences in our rapidly changing world.
